The NVPRO3 LASER is the most advanced, painless and accurate laser in dentistry. Here at Seaside Dentistry, we use it for tissue removal. It's virtually painless, safe and highly effective. This could be used for hyperplastic (excess tissue/inflammation), or gum disease pockets in conjunction with gum therapy procedures, or gum shaping to obtain symmetry (specifically in the anterior zone). Oftentimes for esthetics, it is used to shape the tissue to proper heights prior to placing ceramic veneers. Dr. Pare also uses it to shape the tissue to ideal proportions following ortho treatment (braces and Invisalign).
